It's a jolly Christmas!

I'm on sem break now which means I can finally catch up on blogging lol.
throwback to December 2018, I was struggling to get thesis done & catching up on studies.
but that doesn't mean I was going to let them ruin my Christmas ;-)

honestly, I put Christmas as my priority and everything else is just second to that.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started with a surprise visit to YJ's house and bringing him out for lunch!
Boi didn't expect anything HAHA
Lunch at Wizards at Tribeca and walked around myTown.

Then we returned to prepare for the annual Christmas Eve 布道会
I'm glad that the cameraman took this photo.
This is our last band performance ever.
and since trombone are always in the back, we don't usually get photos.
but yay, really happy there's this one last photo of the trombone section :目

Christmas Day!

After morning service, it's gift exchange time!
it''s probably our most successful gift exchanges ever hahah
I know Christmas isn't about presents,
it's about the birth of Jesus and spending time with family and friends
but it's still hella exciting to receive a gift :b

Shrouded in work and anxiety,
I couldn't fully enjoy Christmas without stress.
I'm just thankful that I had the capacity in me to actually put everything aside.
(I can say this now because it's already over and I don't have to deal with it anymore lol)

Adios, 2018.

Didn't have the time to properly reflect but I guess this is it, 2018.

Adios.

It has been just way too hectic.

Everything was so overwhelming, yet at the same time, I was so unbelievably chill lol.

My attitude hasn't changed and I wonder if that's a good thing or not hah

Reading my diary (yes, I've been keeping a diary for 5 years now)
most of the first half 2018 was spent on chasing after entertainment.
Watching dramas, anime, reading webtoon, manga, etc.
有点堕落 其实 hahah cuz that's what all I talked about.

The second half of 2018 was more eventful (and stressful).
chopped my hair short in June.
first road trip to Melaka with trioooo, also in June.
joined Pesta Beyond, my last as a member, in August.
thailand trip with my girls in September.
kapz first hiking trip in September.
junyi came to visit in September.
qingling flew to uk to pursue law in September.
got my froggo glasses in October.
one of the brightest birthdays I've ever had in November.
intense preparations for awards day in November.
japan family trip in Nov/December.
fengyuan camp in December.
christmas busy days in December.
thesis finally done in December.



I had a great last day of 2018 heheh

2. found my umbrella that I lost YAS
3. I'm the last customer to get the promo pricing for iPhone battery replacement yay


after class, 冲回家!!
had dinner with kapz & gathered at yj's house.
it was nice to chill at the balcony wow 🎇

I remember very clearly what I did on 1st Jan 2018.

Had lunch at Foret (trader's square)

then headed back to university to work on presentation.

( how sad TT )
it's not that different this year hah
Returned back to uni on 1st Jan 2019 hah
this time, to work on an assignment.

Anyways.

I think I've grown a lot compared to the beginning of 2018,
in one way or another.
Here's to 2019, I guess. 🥂
