Happy new year & new decade!
I have holidays from 31st Dec 2019 to 5th Jan 2020 YESSSS
really glad and thank God heheh
On the last day of 2019, I spent it drawing cuz I haven't been able to for 3 months.
Oh I missed drawing TT
Then this year's countdown was at Wenhuey's house
( I realised we forgot to take group photo ahhhh )
Always a great time with the buds!!
it's now time to recount my blessings in 2019!
(also a great way to 补偿 for my lack of blog posts lmao)
1. jan 7: completed my thesis
honestly, thankful to Mr. Sam for guiding me
...and giving me an A- HAHAH that's great!
2. jan 18: facials
big thanks to my mom for sponsoring my facials HAHA
it has really helped my skin to look good yeee
3. feb 8: kapz CNY visitation
I'm glad we continued this heheh
4. mar 8: cell group special game
doing rather weird things in public HAHA
5. mar 28: acc1609 class dinner
it was our first & last dinner together as a class.
Graduation season was coming, we were all moving out of our dorms.
It was quite possibly our last times seeing each other.
altho tbh we aren't the most closely-knitted class, we wanted to commemorate.
毕竟还是同班三年 肩并肩一起努力的同伴们
6. apr 14: 3rd Kajang enrolment service
Our official step into officer-hood.
7. apr 15: audit internship
First ever experience of working a corporate job.
I owe it to my 表姐 for getting me into the company hahah
Audit wasn't my choice, they assigned me.
but I'm glad I went through with it cuz having audit on my resume looks good HAHA
hated the job tho.
Every morning as I leave for work, I already wish I'm back home.
8. may 11: farewell for Yamana sensei
the sensei that taught me all the basics of Japanese language.
ahhh must've been so frustrating to teach us dummies hahahaha

9. may 18: kanching hike
the hike that elicited many more hikes this year!
A very pretty waterfall place.
10. may 22: epic hike fail
YIKESSSSS.
we were on Puchong Hill looking for the blue lagoon.. with no prior research.
bruh we were lost in there lmao.
we hiked nonstop for 3 hours.
Lagi yixin was with us walao he can get advance physical badge liao

12. jun 28: first stocktake
first time inside a giant freezer warehouse.
also the day I thought my toes were legit gonna fall off.
good experience tho hahah
13. jul 23: Langkawi trip
First ever kapz trip!
altho the weather wasn't ideal and we didn't play any water sports,,
it was super fun & enjoyable!!

14. jul 27: the sixth lie
coincidentally saw the sixth lie and fell in love with their music.
hope they come to Malaysia again this year 2020!
15. jul 30: pisang hike
this was a fun hike!

16. aug 1: my farewell dinner from internship
bruh I've WAITED for this day to come.
even tho I really do like the people here but I just can't with the job,, IM OUT ADIOS
big thanks to them for making the experience more bearable.
17. aug 4: QL returns
Our girl hql is back home!!
we thought we wouldn't get to see her for at least 3 years when she left lmao
thanks for coming home hahahaha
18. aug 11: Sydney family trip
It was a v chill time.
oh, we saw whales for the first time!
19. aug 28: back-to-internship dinner
strangely, I was invited for their random company dinner lmao
tbh why I agreed but I guess I'm glad I did hahha the food is greattt.
20. sep 6: bookstore at 5am
Random early morning visit to the bookstore.
legit no reason ahahaha
I bought a book tho! and I haven't read it oop
21. sep 8: kapz Ipoh trip
a simple + quick trip to Ipoh.
22. sep 12: sending Serene off to China
aaaand off she goes to meet 小哥哥s in the land of Ni Hao
hahhahaaha she seems like she's having loads of fun so that's good
23. sep 21: mukbang in the forest
it's not a hard hike, legit just walk up some stairs.
had Maggi up there yeeee.
there was a huge natural waterslide there!!

24. sep 26: trio lunch date
one of the last ones before ql flies off to uk again

26. oct 13: 21st birthday
Altho I spent the afternoon of my birthday at officer's meeting,,
kapz had dintaifeng for dinner ahhhh my fav

28. nov 5: first job!
By God's grace, I got into the big company I want!

29. dec 1: 3rd Kajang awards day
this marks our first year of service as officers.
It's a similar but kinda different service.
May we continue to serve God relentlessly in this ministry.
30. dec 2: first paycheck!
finaaaaally got my first paycheck!
treated my family to dinner at Rakuzen yeeeey
31. dec 14: 忘年会 at Rockafeller's
year-end party with the local Japanese community
my first time at a bar lmao it's sooooo loud
literally can't hear what ppl are saying even tho we're already shouting
it's an experience hahah probably won't return to bars tho unless it's with kapz hah
also, I've discovered that I like Strongbow cider HEHEH
32. dec 15: abi's mpyo debut + elle!

first time at an orchestra concert,, it's definitely granddd.
but we very soi de hahahaha since there are no flaws, it was kinda boring HAHA

33. dec 20: company dinner!

34. dec 24-25: Christmas!
Maybe because it was my 2nd month of working, I was 投入 myself in work.
Didn't have much of Christmas vibes cuz I participated as emcee (no rehearsals)
But still thank God for His grace and love.
On leave on Christmas because how dare I not.
35. dec 26: ECLIPSEEE

36. dec 28: back at gentling after 10 years
it's been SO LONG.
it was a nice one-day family trip, hebi dei.

phew that's quite a lot hahahah
this was what I wrote in my first post of 2019.
God has truly listened to my prayer and held my hand throughout the year.
Had lots of doubts and worries but
He has never left me to struggle on my own even tho I wasn't the most ideal daughter TT
God's grace and mercy is unbelievable (haha)
His unconditional love is so so so precious.
For this new year, new decade:
I do have some resolutions HEH
I'm gonna exclude those typical ones like sleep earlier, eat better, exercise more, etc.
it's getting repetitive HAHA
1. draw at least once per month
2. read all the books I've bought these few years ( there's 5 )
3. prepare well and serve better in BB
Heavenly Father, thank you for holding my hand all though 2019.
May I continue walk in the right path with Your Light.
Father, please never let go of me even when I'm too weak to hold onto You.
